This document explains how cookies are used on the website of Halevi • Levi Law Office.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser that allow a website to function properly and to remember basic preferences.
Which cookies are used
The site uses essential storage to remember your cookie choice and operational preferences. If you have not chosen, Google tools load after 10 seconds without measurement cookies or automatic consent. Accepting cookies enables cookie-based measurement, Google Signals and hashed-phone matching for eligible forms as described below. Choosing essential cookies only, including a saved choice from an earlier visit, prevents or stops measurement. By accepting the updated cookie notice, you also allow activity data and cookie and advertising identifiers to be used for personalized advertising through Google. This remains subject to your Google settings and the availability and restrictions of its services.
Site and advertising measurement under your control
Cookieless measurement while a choice is pending: after 10 seconds without a choice, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads may receive page and activity signals: scrolling, form starts, phone or WhatsApp clicks, and an inquiry confirmed saved by the server. Signals include a filtered page URL, source and campaign where available, and technical information such as time and browser type; connecting to Google also involves processing an IP address. This is not a promise of complete anonymity. In this state measurement cookies are not read or written, Google Signals and contact matching are not used, and names, phone numbers, email addresses, form contents and the firm's stored inquiry identifier are not sent. Activity before measurement starts is not replayed. Consent remains denied; elapsed time is not acceptance. Essential only stops future measurement but does not delete information already sent. Signals may help reporting and statistical modeling, subject to Google's limits and thresholds; visitor identification, attribution of every conversion and recovery of every visit in reports are not guaranteed. Google Analytics 4 measures page views, scrolling, form starts and contact actions. Reports distinguish phone clicks, WhatsApp openings and form handoffs from inquiries saved in the site inbox; a click does not confirm a completed call or sent message. Google may process cookie and advertising identifiers, browser information and page addresses. With your consent, and only after the server confirms that the inquiry was saved, dedicated marital-agreement and wills/inheritance forms may attach a SHA-256 hash of the phone number to the existing Google Ads conversion for advertising matching. This does not count an additional inquiry. Hashing is not anonymization. Names, inquiry text and case details are not sent for this matching; contact details are not sent in Google Analytics events. Divorce/separation inquiries and ineligible forms retain ordinary measurement without contact-data matching. Reports can be incomplete. Your updated consent also enables Google Signals to enrich aggregate reports with demographic and interest information where available. Google may associate site activity with information from the Google accounts of signed-in users who have enabled personalization in their Google settings. This measurement may combine the site’s first-party cookies or identifiers with Google advertising cookies or identifiers, including third-party cookies. The firm receives aggregate reports, not visitors’ Google account identities. GA4 event data retention is set to 14 months; user identifiers renew their 14-month retention on new activity. This does not extend event history. Google applies shorter limits to age, gender and interest data. These settings do not limit standard aggregate reports. By accepting the updated cookie notice, you also allow activity data and cookie and advertising identifiers to be used for personalized advertising through Google. This remains subject to your Google settings and the availability and restrictions of its services. An earlier acceptance that covered measurement without personalization is not automatically expanded: a new acceptance is required. Earlier refusals remain effective. Withdrawing acceptance through Cookie settings also stops future use from this site for personalized advertising; it does not delete data already sent. Microsoft Clarity: We use behavior analysis, heatmaps and session recordings to understand difficulties and improve the site. Form details are masked in recordings; we do not send names, phone numbers, email addresses, enquiry text or lead IDs as Clarity events. An enquiry-received event is recorded only after the firm’s system saves it; a phone or WhatsApp click does not confirm receipt. Without a banner choice, Clarity may start after 10 seconds without cookies, alongside the measurement described above. In this mode the same visitor is not persistently linked across pages, limiting reporting. Only explicit acceptance of the updated notice allows Clarity analytics cookies (_clck, _clsk); we do not grant its advertising cookie consent. Elapsed time is not consent. Essential only or withdrawal stops Clarity and clears its cookies accessible to this site. Admin and preview pages are excluded. Earlier acceptance is not automatically extended to this new service; earlier refusals remain effective. Provider: Microsoft; privacy policy: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement .
Third-party cookies
Use of external components embedded in the site, such as the Google Maps map and moving to the WhatsApp service, may cause those services to set their own cookies in accordance with their terms.
Controlling cookies
You can choose essential cookies only and continue browsing and contacting the firm. Change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement and contact-data matching and removes this site’s Google measurement cookies where your browser allows it. It does not delete data already sent to Google, inquiries saved for handling, or cookies belonging to other services. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings. Manage your Google account’s advertising preferences at https://myadcenter.google.com/ or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout . You can refuse or withdraw this site’s measurement, including Google Signals and contact-data matching, through Cookie settings on this site. Google settings alone do not replace your cookie choice on this site. An earlier acceptance that covered measurement without personalization is not automatically expanded: a new acceptance is required. Earlier refusals remain effective. Withdrawing acceptance through Cookie settings also stops future use from this site for personalized advertising; it does not delete data already sent.
